In 1933, Saben L. Mitchel and John L. Scott founded the Mitchel & Scott Machine Company. Joined by five employees, limited space, and in the midst of the Great Depression, through perseverance and commitment, the owners developed a level of craftsmanship that launched the company into the manufacturing marketplace.

Through the coming years, the Company vision was refined. Growth took hold through acquisitions of companies and space expansion. The Company enhanced its processes in grinding, precision finishes, and gaging. It acquired new equipment and developed a skill-set that focused on quality.

As the marketplace evolved, so did the Company.

Mitchel & Scott Machine Company continues to focus on precision manufacturing, thereby exhibiting our specialties, craftsmanship, and knowledge through our product.

The vision continues to reflect the perseverance and commitment originated by the Company founders. Using our sister company, Emporo, LLC as our sales representation agency, Mitchel & Scott proudly continues to emphasize quality, discipline, and production as a domestic low to medium volume precision contract manufacturer.
